I’m Still Young
[Current Song // The Postal Service - The District Sleeps Alone Tonight]
I love when people come to the door and ask if my mother is home. I’m the oldest girl living in the townhouse, so when salespeople visit and ask that, I can say “no” legitimately and send them on their way without feeling guilty at all. Heeheehee.
I’m going back to Oshawa on Wednesday. I’m really really excited to be going home! This semester has been my most stressful, and I’m glad it will be over in two days. Two days with two essays left and an exam. My dad’s driving up after his midnight shift to come get me, and then plans to nap on my couch until he has the energy back to drive me home. He’s pretty dedicated coming to get me on the first available day! How sweet!
I want to…
- I want to visit with my family. I miss them so much!
- I want to spend time with my friends who I haven’t seen since reading week, or even longer. It’s been so long!
- I want to finish two to three essays in advance over the holiday break. I should be a better good student!
- I want to work on the unveiling of a new version of Magitek Designs, with 10 new layouts and tons of avatars by Christmas. It’s a goal of mine!
- I want to take more serious photographs.
But I suppose I should focus on getting these last two papers done so that I can study for my last exam tomorrow. I want to think positively!

Reminds me of when sales people call my parents house. My mom has a young sounding voice on the phone, so they always ask for her parents. So she just tells them they’re not in. LOL Good luck with your “I want to” list. Also, that is cool that your dad is going to pick you up. Have a safe trip home.

I love when salespeople come to the door. I pretty much just … close the door. And let my dog bark. They usually just leave.
Can’t wait for the unveiling of Magitek Designs, some of the loyal fans of MD (and MDF) have been waiting for ever!
Hopefully in the redesign, the forum will be back up and running?
